The Academic Secretarial Development Program, offered in partnership between the Human Capital Development Center and the Center for University Education Development, is a unique initiative designed to empower individuals with the essential competencies required for modern academic secretarial work.

This program goes beyond the traditional view of secretarial roles by focusing on diplomacy, creativity, critical thinking, and effective decision-making. Participants will gain advanced administrative, technical, and academic skills that enable them to contribute more effectively to the academic environment.

A specialized program jointly delivered by the Human Capacity Development Center and the Faculty of Communication and Media at King Abdulaziz University. It aims to equip participants with an integrated set of media skills (writing, preparation, production, platform management) alongside supporting professional skills (persuasive communication, negotiation, critical thinking, and team management), translating learning into tangible professional performance in media and communication environments.

The program is built on
  • • Three-tier structure for each skill (Foundations → Advanced → Practical Applications) with a clear progression map.
  • • Integration of theory and practice through hands-on exercises, newsroom simulations, content analysis, and real-world cases.
  • • Comprehensive skill set covering writing and editing, production and layout, visual identity, content creation, campaign management, and corporate communication—plus persuasion, negotiation, critical thinking, and team management.

The program is built on
