Overview

Faculty of Medicine in in Rabigh was established in 2008 and welcomed its first cohort of students in 1430 AH (2009 CE). The faculty aims to be a leading model in medical education through an integrated curriculum that combines theoretical and practical aspects, including hands-on clinical training in the hospital alongside classroom learning. The faculty has also adopted innovative teaching methods, where logical reasoning in clinical cases is taught independently through dedicated sessions within various clinical courses, fostering critical thinking in problem-solving. Additionally, the Professionalism and Medical Ethics course is delivered using a comprehensive teaching file that includes videos, interactive scenarios, and role-playing activities, helping students grasp the importance of the course content more effectively compared to traditional methods.
