Overview

The Faculty of Environmental Sciences was established in 1394 AH as a Meteorology Institute under the supervision of the Ministry of Defense and Aviation. It was later integrated into King Abdulaziz University in the academic year 1395/1396 AH, and its current name, "Faculty of Environmental Sciences," was officially adopted. Today, the faculty is a leading academic institution dedicated to addressing environmental challenges through specialized programs in environmental management, sustainable development, pollution control, and ecosystem protection. The faculty combines academic excellence with intensive practical training, offering advanced research facilities and a highly qualified faculty team to graduate professionals capable of innovation, shaping environmental policies, and making a tangible contribution to sustainability. It also emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and active community engagement.
