Overview

The Faculty of Dentistry at King Abdulaziz University is a leading academic institution, established by Royal Decree in 1405 AH (1985 AD). The Faculty aims to graduate highly qualified dental professionals with advanced scientific and practical competencies, through the implementation of the highest global standards of quality in teaching, training, and research, while adopting the latest scientific methods and curricula. The first class, consisting of 9 male and 8 female students, graduated in the 1992–1993 academic year, marking the beginning of a long tradition of academic excellence and community service. The Faculty strives for excellence in education, research, and clinical practice, ensuring the provision of high-quality healthcare services that meet community needs and keep pace with the latest developments in the field of dentistry. The Faculty comprises a distinguished team of faculty members and specialized staff who deliver comprehensive academic programs combining theoretical study with practical training in clinics equipped with the latest technologies and medical devices, contributing to the advancement of diagnostic and treatment methods and the overall improvement of healthcare quality.
