The Faculty of Engineering at King Abdulaziz University is committed to excellence in engineering education, scientific research, and innovation. The Royal Decree to establish the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences was issued by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Khalid bin Abdulaziz — may he rest in peace — on the 6th of Dhul-Hijjah, 1394 AH, corresponding to January 9, 1975. The Faculty offers a wide range of academic programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, aimed at preparing students to address complex engineering challenges and actively contribute to technological and industrial advancement. Its programs span various disciplines, including civil, mechanical, electrical, industrial, and chemical engineering, among others. The Faculty provides a distinguished educational environment supported by state-of-the-art laboratories and a highly experienced faculty, enabling students to acquire a solid knowledge base and advanced practical skills.
