Overview

The Faculty of Medical Rehabilitation Sciences at King Abdulaziz University is one of the leading educational centers in the Kingdom for advancing education and research in rehabilitation and therapeutic sciences. The faculty was established in 1434–1435 AH by a royal decree from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to meet the Kingdom’s need for specialized professionals in this field for both males and females. The faculty offers distinguished academic programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, covering areas such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and prosthetics and orthotics. Its modern learning environment and advanced facilities enable students to acquire the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to help individuals restore their functions and improve their quality of life. The faculty focuses on innovation, ethical practices, and community service, preparing its graduates to excel and contribute effectively to the continuously evolving healthcare sector.
