Overview

The Faculty of Architecture and Planning at King Abdulaziz University is one of the leading institutions in the Kingdom, shaping the future of the built environment. Established in 1418H (1997) as the Faculty of Environmental Design, it was renamed in 2020 to the Faculty of Architecture and Planning. The faculty offers specialized undergraduate and graduate programs focused on architectural design, urban planning, landscape architecture, and sustainable development. By blending creativity, exploration, and technical expertise, students are equipped to design functional, aesthetic, and environmentally responsible spaces. Guided by a team of experienced professionals and supported by advanced facilities, the faculty fosters innovation and research to address contemporary challenges in architecture and urban development.
