About

The Faculty of Architecture and Planning at King Abdulaziz University is one of the distinguished faculties in the Kingdom, contributing to the development of the urban environment. The faculty was established in 1418 AH (1997 AD) under the name Faculty of Environmental Designs, and was renamed Faculty of Architecture and Planning in 2020. The faculty offers specialized academic programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, focusing on architectural design, urban planning, landscape engineering, and sustainable development. By combining creativity, exploration, and technical expertise, students are prepared to design spaces that blend functionality, aesthetics, and environmental responsibility. The faculty is led by a team of experienced specialists, supported by advanced facilities and technologies, which helps promote innovation and support scientific research to address contemporary challenges in architecture and urban planning.
