In line with Saudi Vision 2030, which aspires to achieve progress across all sectors, and inspired by its second pillar, “A Thriving Economy,” through its six overarching objectives—particularly the third and fourth goals (Economic Growth and Diversification – Increasing Employment Rates)—and in alignment with the Human Capability Development Program, which focuses on enhancing essential and future skills, developing the capabilities of all citizens of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, instilling values, and fostering knowledge across various age groups and educational levels to meet the future needs of both local and global labor markets. Based on the Fourth Strategic Plan of King Abdulaziz University, the university places direct emphasis on developing human capabilities within its vision, mission, and strategic objectives. In pursuit of contributing to this ambitious vision, the Human Capability Development Center was established as a specialized entity for training, qualification, and development of human capital within and beyond the university. The center aims to create a high-quality, innovative educational and training environment that fosters knowledge, future skills, professional competence, and leadership development—enhancing employability and business growth to meet the evolving demands of the labor market.
