Overview
The General Administration of Operation and Maintenance is one of the main departments at King Abdulaziz University, overseeing the operation and maintenance of university facilities to ensure a comprehensive educational and research environment. Its responsibilities include maintaining the readiness of buildings, electrical systems, air conditioning systems, and water and sewage networks. In line with the university's development and strategic plan, the Operation and Maintenance Department was integrated into the General Administration of Operation and Maintenance, making it one of the largest departments in the university and increasing its responsibilities across the campus. The administration focuses on applying modern standards in facility management to achieve operational sustainability and reduce operational costs. It also works on developing operational plans and regular maintenance schedules while ensuring a rapid response to emergency malfunctions. Additionally, the administration strives to support the university’s sustainability by adopting innovative environmental solutions and advanced technologies.
