Dr.Faisal Mane Saed Alsaaq
General Supervisor of the Marine Media Center
Biography
He has been the General Supervisor of the Marine Media Center at King Abdulaziz University since March 2020.
He previously served as Head of the Department of Marine Sciences at the Naval Survey Administration, General Directorate of Military Survey from 2001 to 2012. Later, he was Head of the Department of Marine Survey at the College of Marine Studies from 2018 to 2022. During the same period, he also served as Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and subsequently as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at the college.
He holds a Ph.D. in Marine Surveying and Geospatial Information (2017) from Curtin University, Australia, a Master’s degree in Surveying Engineering (Geomatics) from the University of New Brunswick, Canada, and a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Physics from the Faculty of Marine Sciences, King Abdulaziz University.
