Biography
Professor Dr. Ahmed bin Hamed Nagadi holds a Ph.D. in Economics with a focus on Monetary Theory and Policy from Claremont University, USA (1985). He also earned two master’s degrees in Economics and Economic Development, in addition to a bachelor's degree in Economics from King Abdulaziz University. Over the years, he has held various leadership positions, including President of Bisha University (2017–2020), Vice President for Business and Knowledge Creativity, and Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administration at King Abdulaziz University.
Dr. Nagadi has contributed to shaping higher education in Saudi Arabia through his membership on boards of trustees, including King Abdulaziz University and the University of Business and Technology. He has chaired and served on numerous committees in areas such as strategic investment, budgeting, distance learning, and academic restructuring. His efforts include establishing academic chairs and strengthening university-industry links. With a strong strategic vision and broad academic and administrative experience, Dr. Nagadi continues to play a vital role in advancing education, innovation, and sustainable development.
