Consultant to the University President for PMO Affairs
Associate Professor and Consultant in the Department of Orthodontics, Advisor to the University President for Project Management Office (PMO) Affairs, and Vice Dean of Quality and Academic Accreditation for the Female Student Section. She obtained her Bachelor's degree from King Abdulaziz University, a PhD, and Clinical Fellowship in Orthodontics from Harvard University, USA. She also earned a Fellowship in Medical Education from the Weimer Institute for Medical Education and a Diploma in Professional Development for University Teaching from the University Teaching Development Center. She has published numerous medical research papers in peer-reviewed journals.
She contributed to the establishment of the Strategic Center for achieving the Kingdom's vision at King Abdulaziz University, where she served as Deputy Director of the Center. She participated in developing the university's fourth strategic plan, along with developing and evaluating over 250 strategic and executive plans both inside and outside the university. She also participated in founding the Transformation Management Office, where she was responsible for the corporate governance track, and in developing the internal quality assurance system to monitor administrative quality across university sectors. She oversaw more than 25 projects to implement ISO 9001:2015 across various university sectors, leading to their certification.
She won the Distinguished Quality Manager Award for 2019 at the national level from the Saudi Quality Council and is a certified academic reviewer by the Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC). She is also an accredited assessor for several institutional excellence awards, including the King Abdulaziz Quality Award and the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM).
She contributed as Chair of the Strategic Planning Standard in the university’s achievement of institutional accreditation from NCAAA and in obtaining the CODA accreditation for the College of Dentistry, as well as the national program accreditation from NCAAA. As an ambassador for excellence, she played a role in the College of Dentistry’s receipt of the King Abdulaziz Quality Award in its fourth cycle.
She has extensive experience in strategic planning, initiative and project management, performance measurement, quality, institutional excellence, training, and leadership, with over 10 years of experience. During this time, she has served on numerous advisory and executive committees at the university.
