Dr. Tahani Ibrahim Alharbi

Assistant Professor of Public Administration at the Faculty of Economics and Administration, King Abdulaziz University. She holds a PhD in Public Administration (Academic Leadership) from Birkbeck, University of London. She has advanced academic and research expertise in human resource management and development, organisational behaviour, and academic leadership, with a particular focus on women’s studies, alongside an interest in virtual organisations and flexible work arrangements. She has published peer-reviewed research and presented scholarly papers at international academic conferences. She has held several academic and administrative leadership roles, most notably serving as Director of the Academic Master’s Programme in Public Administration (female section). She is also a member of the Department’s Advisory and Development Committees, in addition to her participation in several specialised academic committees. Her professional experience includes working at the Deanship of University Educational Development at King Abdulaziz University, where she contributed to the design and delivery of professional development programmes for faculty members and postgraduate students, including the Scholarship Preparation Programme and the Professional Diploma for University Teaching. She is a member of the Centre for Innovation Management Research (CIMR) at Birkbeck, University of London, contributing to research-related activities within her field of expertise, and has been recognised by the Saudi Cultural Mission for academic excellence. She has also participated as a knowledge expert in the Youth Voice programme delivered by the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (MiSK). Her academic career reflects a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of university education, developing students’ capabilities, and fostering innovation as a pathway to strengthening their professional readiness within the national context.
