Department of Marketing

Marketing is one of the most vital strategic functions relied upon by production and service organizations to achieve competitiveness and growth in business environments characterized by rapid change and increasing complexity. Over the past decades, the concept of marketing has evolved from a promotional activity to a strategic function focused on creating customer value, building long-term relationships, and leveraging data and modern technologies to support decision-making. In response to these transformations, the Marketing Department at King Abdulaziz University is committed to equipping its students with up-to-date academic knowledge and practical skills needed to practice marketing professionally across various sectors. The department is distinguished by its faculty members who combine academic research excellence with practical and consulting experience, ensuring a strong connection between theoretical knowledge and professional practice. The program emphasizes preparing graduates for the job market by training them in contemporary marketing tools and techniques such as digital marketing, data analysis, brand management, market research, and customer experience. It also engages students with real-world issues through applied projects, case studies, and field training.
