Department of Accounting

The Department of Accounting was established in 1392/1393 AH, four years after the commencement of studies at the Faculty of Economics and Administration at King Abdulaziz University. It has become the leading department in the faculty in terms of student enrollment and graduates. The department offers a comprehensive academic program in collaboration with other scientific departments at the university, leading to a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, which serves as the foundation for practicing accounting and auditing professionally. The department also offers a Master's degree program in Accounting and Professional Accounting. The department focuses on training students in various fields and specialized tracks, including General Accounting, Accounting and Information Systems, and Accounting and Finance.
