Biography
Dr. Ali Omar Jifri is an Associate Professor of Strategic Planning in the Department of Public Administration, Faculty of Economics and Administration, at King Abdulaziz University, where he has been serving as Chair of the Department since 2021. He holds a Ph.D. in Management and Strategic Planning from the University of Alabama, an MBA from the University of Denver, and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. His research interests focus on strategic management, public policy analysis, governance, public-private partnerships, and the performance evaluation of governmental institutions. Dr. Jifri has published in peer-reviewed journals, participated in local and international academic conferences, and he has supervised numerous master’s theses in public administration and public policy, in addition to serving on thesis examination committees. He has also delivered executive training programs and workshops for government entities and academic institutions, and is a member of NASPAA, the Arab Administrative Development Organization, and the Academy of Management.
