Biography
Prof. Khaled Alfawaz is a Professor in the Faculty of Economics and Administration at King Abdulaziz University, specializing in Management Information Systems. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Management Information Systems from Brunel Business School. His academic career reflects a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and institutional development. Prof. Alfawaz has played a significant leadership role in academic accreditation and quality management, having served as General Supervisor of Academic Accreditation and Quality Management Administrations, and as Chairman of their respective committees. He has also contributed to university governance through his membership in several strategic and advisory committees related to higher education development and national qualification frameworks. In addition to his academic leadership at King Abdulaziz University, Prof. Alfawaz has held senior administrative roles, including Vice Dean of the English Language Institute, and has actively contributed to research and academic development as Director of the Center for Research and Development. His professional engagement extends beyond the university through participation in advisory boards at other higher education institutions. As Head of the Management Information Systems Department, he continues to advance educational innovation, quality assurance, and academic leadership.
