Biography
Dr. Faris Mohammed Thenayan Althenayan is an Assistant Professor of Finance and currently serves as Chair of the Finance Department. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from King’s College London, an MSc in Banking and Finance from Queen Mary University of London, and a PhD in Behavioural Finance from Middlesex University London. His academic and research interests focus on behavioural finance and capital markets, as well as finance and investment, corporate governance, and sports finance and investment. At the departmental level, he plays a leadership role by chairing several committees and overseeing responsibilities related to the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation (NCAAA). He also contributes to the development of academic programmes, the enhancement of teaching quality, and the alignment of programme learning outcomes with labour market requirements.
