The Faculty of Medicine in Rabigh was established in 2008, and it welcomed its first cohort in 1430 AH (2009 AD). It aims to be a leading model in medical education, adopting an integrative curriculum that combines both theoretical and practical components, enabling students to study the body’s systems from all perspectives simultaneously. This is complemented by hands-on training in the hospital, running concurrently with theoretical studies. Notably, the Faculty of Medicine in Rabigh has introduced innovative teaching methods, including teaching logical thinking in clinical cases independently in special sessions for different clinical courses. This encourages students to think critically when addressing medical problems. Additionally, the course on professionalism and medical ethics is taught using a teaching file that includes numerous videos, role-playing scenarios, and interactive situations, helping students appreciate the importance of the course content compared to traditional methods.
