Department of Electrical Engineering
he Department of Electrical Engineering is one of the main departments in the College of Engineering. It offers a comprehensive program covering electrical power, electronics, control systems, and communications, with opportunities for specialization through elective courses. The department aims to graduate engineers who are well prepared for the local and regional labor market, capable of pursuing graduate studies, and contributing to national development goals. Graduation requires five years of study, including the preparatory year, with a total of 155 credit hours, in addition to a 10-week summer training program to gain practical experience.
