The Faculty of Engineering in Rabigh was established on 7/3/1429 AH (29/7/2008 ) by royal decree number A 24/49/1429 issued by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Higher Education Council. The faculty was founded to make a significant contribution to the development of the community in Rabigh and its surrounding areas. It plays an important role in the economic and social development of the region by providing the necessary engineering education to meet the needs of the community and the labor market in various engineering fields and their applications. The faculty offers academic degree programs in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Architectural Engineering. Furthermore, the faculty has established local and international partnerships with universities and educational institutions to implement summer training or research programs for students, helping them acquire the necessary experience, knowledge, and skills.
