Biography

Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Qarni is a faculty member at the College of Engineering in Rabigh and currently serves as Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the Rabigh branch. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in 2005. He then continued his academic journey in the United States, earning both his Master’s and PhD degrees in Production Engineering and Mechanical Systems Engineering from the University of Central Florida in 2017. Dr. Al-Qarni began his professional career at SABIC (2006–2010), where he gained strong technical experience in applied engineering fields. Since joining academia in 2017, he has undertaken several administrative responsibilities and has held various leadership positions since 2019, focusing on the development of educational and research systems. Dr. Al-Qarni has an active and distinguished research profile, having published numerous papers in internationally indexed journals (WOS). He also holds two patents in his field of specialization. In addition, he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and actively participates in several national and international professional organizations and centers. His interests align closely with projects supporting Saudi Vision 2030, and through his work, he seeks to strengthen strategic collaboration between the university and the industrial sector, as well as to promote innovation in engineering education.
