About

The Facutly of Communication and Media at King Abdulaziz University is one of the leading institutions in the Kingdom in the field of media and communication education. Its academic journey began in 1976 as a scientific department, making it one of the earliest media departments in the Arab world, before evolving into a full Facutly that reflects the growth and transformation of the media sector. The Facutly offers distinguished academic programs at both undergraduate and graduate levels that combine theoretical foundations with practical training. These programs focus on areas such as corporate communication, journalism and digital media, filmmaking and content creation, and marketing communication and advertising, in alignment with market needs. The Facutly also provides an innovative educational environment supported by modern media laboratories and studios, partnerships with media and cultural institutions, and specialized initiatives and events such as the Digital Communication Conference, the Student Film Festival, and academic forums, which enhance experiential learning and provide students with real opportunities to engage with the media industry.
