The Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at King Abdulaziz University, Rabigh Branch, was established by Royal Decree No. (5088/M B) issued on 7/8/1432 AH, to prepare specialists in healthcare fields through advanced academic programs in applied medical sciences such as physical therapy, radiology, medical laboratory sciences, nursing, and other healthcare disciplines. The faculty welcomed its first batch of medical laboratory technology students at the start of the 1440/1441 AH academic year, and the first batch of nursing students in the 1442 AH academic year. The faculty seeks to equip students with the theoretical and practical knowledge required to work efficiently in applied medical fields, focusing on developing their clinical and practical skills through training in university-affiliated hospitals and healthcare centers. With a modern educational environment and specialized training programs, the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences contributes to developing qualified healthcare professionals who play a key role in enhancing the quality of healthcare services both within the Kingdom and globally.
