Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences

The Department of Medical Laboratory Technology Sciences was established in 1400 AH / 1980 under the umbrella of the Faculty of Medicine and Medical Sciences. It became an independent academic department in 1425 AH / 2004 under the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences. The department aims to prepare qualified specialists in laboratory analysis, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to support physicians in diagnosing diseases, monitoring patient conditions, and evaluating treatment effectiveness. It also strives to graduate national professionals trained to the highest global standards to meet the needs of the healthcare sector.
