Student Activities

The student clubs and committees at the Faculty of Engineering, King Abdulaziz University, aim to enrich the academic and practical experience of students, while enhancing their leadership, creativity, and social skills. By offering a diverse range of scientific, technical, advisory, and organizational activities, these clubs provide students with opportunities to gain practical experience, foster collaboration and innovation, and offer an effective platform for exchanging ideas and initiatives. These clubs and committees contribute to developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as teamwork and initiative, preparing students to enter the workforce with confidence and competence. They also create an environment that stimulates innovation, supporting students in exploring their scientific and engineering fields and keeping up with the latest technologies and practical applications in their disciplines.

Target Audience

All clubs and committees are open to male and female students of the Faculty of Engineering, with their activities extending to the broader student body of King Abdulaziz University, aiming to foster a stimulating, inclusive, and enriched educational environment.

How to Join Student Clubs and Committees

Application forms for joining the committees are made available through dedicated online forms for each committee. Announcements are communicated to students via the faculty notice boards as well as official social media channels.

Sports Committee

Responsible for organizing and supporting sports activities and events within the Faculty of Engineering, promoting a healthy lifestyle and fostering a spirit of sportsmanship among students.

Engineering Index Committee

Oversees and monitors the activities of all student clubs and committees, tracks extracurricular points, and conveys directives from the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Faculty Vice Dean to relevant parties, supporting the Faculty of Engineering in achieving the Golden Index.
