Student Activities Unit

This is the supervisory organizational unit at the Faculty concerned with planning, organizing, and developing extracurricular activities (cultural, social, artistic, and sporting). The Unit acts as a strategic link between the Faculty's students and the Deanship of Student Affairs, and is keen on discovering and nurturing talents, and creating a stimulating and innovative university environment that contributes to building a conscious, leading generation qualified for the labor market.

Card Description

  • Preparing the Operational Plan: Formulating a comprehensive annual plan for the Faculty's extracurricular activities and events and submitting it for approval.
  • Coordination and Communication: Building effective and continuous communication bridges between the Faculty, the Deanship of Student Affairs, and relevant parties.
  • Activating Clubs and Committees: Direct supervision of the establishment and management of student clubs and sub-committees within the departments.
  • Organizing Developmental Courses: Coordinating workshops and training programs that contribute to developing students' personal and professional skills.
  • Nurturing Talents: Discovering talented male and female students in various literary, artistic, and cultural fields and providing suitable nurturing for their skills.
  • Representing the Faculty: Nominating and following up on delegations of male and female students to represent the Faculty in forums and central competitions at the university level and beyond.
  • Managing Major Events: Supervising the organization of official celebrations, international days, and exhibitions and forums held by the Faculty.
  • Promoting Community Participation: Encouraging students to engage in volunteer initiatives and community service, reflecting the Faculty's humanitarian role.
  • Evaluation and Report Preparation: Monitoring and following up on the progress of activities, measuring their impact, and preparing periodic closing reports for each event.
  • Organizing Periodic Meetings: Holding continuous meetings with club pioneers, committees, and club secretaries to discuss challenges and develop performance.

These are interactive student platforms and communities within the Faculty, run by the male and female students themselves under academic supervision from the relevant scientific department. The clubs aim to translate the departments' theoretical knowledge into practical applications, expand the horizons of participation, and develop teamwork and innovation skills in an enjoyable, specialized environment.
