The Faculty of Arts and Humanities at King Abdulaziz University believes that its social responsibility is an integral part of its educational and research mission, and strives to enhance its role in serving the community in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. The Faculty focuses on implementing initiatives and programs that contribute to promoting cultural and humanistic knowledge, raising literary and intellectual awareness, as well as providing practical educational and outreach services in the fields of literature, language, history, and humanistic studies. The Faculty’s efforts include organizing programs and workshops targeting various age groups and community members, such as students and local community participants, in addition to offering seminars and courses on literature, humanities, research and analytical skills, and general cultural awareness. The Faculty also supports volunteer initiatives and community projects, providing students with opportunities for practical participation and experiences that enhance their academic, cultural, and social skills. The Faculty works on building partnerships with educational, cultural, and governmental institutions to maximize the impact of its programs and initiatives, whether through research studies or joint awareness and training programs.
