Partnerships and Agreements

The Faculty of Arts and Humanities at King Abdulaziz University strives to advance its academic and societal mission through diverse local and international partnerships and cooperation agreements that support education, research, and community service. Locally, the faculty signed a memorandum of understanding with Dar Al-Hekma University aimed at developing academic, research, and training programs and facilitating the exchange of expertise. It also entered into an agreement with the Swiss Hospitality Company to enhance training opportunities for students and graduates in the tourism sector through the STAR Tourism Employment Accelerator Program. Additionally, the faculty collaborated with the Center for Arab-Russian Media and Studies to provide advisory services in curriculum development, academic supervision, and strengthening Saudi–Russian relations. In the area of community engagement, the faculty signed a cooperation agreement with Al-Mawaddah Society for Family Development covering training, volunteer work, psychological counseling, and family care. Moreover, a memorandum of understanding was signed with the Saudi National Committee for UNESCO (Saudi ICOMOS) to cooperate in archaeological studies, organizing exhibitions, and delivering training programs to promote the protection of cultural heritage. These strategic partnerships reflect the faculty’s commitment to integrating academic education with professional practice and enhancing its cultural and social impact in line with national development goals.
