Academic Advising

The Faculty of Arts and Humanities at King Abdulaziz University works to provide a supportive educational and academic environment for students, by offering an integrated set of advisory services targeting the academic, psychological, and personal aspects of the student، These services aim to:

• Supporting students' psychological well-being.
• Promoting academic success and progress.
• Developing life skills and personal skills.
• Helping students cope with academic and psychological pressures.
• Preventing academic and behavioral problems before they occur.
• Supporting students in academic integration in dealing with problems as they arise.
• Achieving psychological, mental, and academic balance for the student throughout the period of university study.

Main Services Provided

• Study Withdrawal Requests: The Faculty allows the review of requests submitted by students to withdraw from their studies, and considers them in accordance with the procedures and regulations in effect at the University.
• Absence Excuses: Excuses related to student absences are examined and reviewed, and are submitted electronically through the e-transactions system.
• Electronic Communication with the Academic Advisor: The Faculty enables students to communicate with their academic advisor electronically through the e-transactions system to obtain guidance or assistance related to their academic journey.
• Direct and Remote Guidance and Advising: Guidance and advising services are provided to students through several means, including: personal interviews, communication via WhatsApp, phone calls, and communication via email.
