King Abdulaziz University and Spirit of Tourism Association Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Strengthen Joint Cooperation

King Abdulaziz University, represented by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, and the Spirit of Tourism Association have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening joint cooperation in the fields of tourism, training, scientific research, and community service, contributing to supporting distinguished initiatives and expanding the scope of partnership between the two sides.

King Abdulaziz University was represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Prof. Zaini bin Talal Al-Hazmi, authorized by the President of the University, Dr. Tarif bin Yousef Al-A'ma, while the Spirit of Tourism Association was represented by the Chairman of the Board, Mr. Fayez bin Abdulrazzaq Al-Faqir.

The memorandum aims to encourage creativity and innovation among students and faculty members through organizing conferences, forums, seminars, and lectures related to the tourism field, in addition to activating areas of cultural and training cooperation, connecting students with cooperative training opportunities, and benefiting from the databases and scientific output available to both parties.

The memorandum also includes cooperation in preparing and implementing joint activities, exchanging expertise and training materials, joint publishing, and organizing specialized educational and training programs in tourism and its modern technologies, thereby enhancing the knowledge-based and community impact of the cooperation between the two parties.

Both sides affirmed that this partnership comes within the framework of building effective and sustainable cooperative relationships that contribute to supporting tourism and cultural development, and serve the shared goals of both parties, in accordance with the regulations and procedures applied in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
