Department of Psychology Holds Advising Forum for Fresh Students

The Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, King Abdulaziz University, held an advising forum for fresh students in the department today, Tuesday, 6 October 2026, in the presence of a number of faculty members and students.

The Head of the Department, Prof. Jahaz bin Fahd Al-Mutairi, opened the forum with a speech welcoming the fresh students. He stressed the importance of making the most of the university stage and of staying in contact with the department and its faculty members from the very beginning of their academic journey.

Subsequently, Prof. Faisal bin Ali Al-Harthi continued the session with the students, addressing a number of academic and advising topics of concern to them at the start of their studies, in addition to clarifying certain aspects of studying in the department and the services available to them.

The forum also included a direct dialogue with the students, during which they were given the opportunity to raise their inquiries and discuss their concerns at this stage, and to have their questions answered in a way that helps them begin their university experience with greater clarity.

The forum is organized as part of the Department of Psychology's commitment to preparing fresh students, strengthening communication with them, and supporting them throughout their academic journey.
