Graduates are qualified to serve as university professors and researchers specializing in Usul al-Fiqh and the methodologies of Sharia reasoning and ijtihad, as well as Sharia advisors and experts in judicial, legal, and fatwa institutions. The program also qualifies graduates to work as principal researchers in Sharia research centers and scholarly institutions, and subject to applicable statutory and professional requirements to pursue careers in the judiciary, public prosecution, notarial services, judicial documentation, and legal practice. In addition, graduates are prepared for positions in Sharia and legal consultancy, the verification and scholarly editing of classical usuli manuscripts and Islamic heritage, and academic leadership and administrative roles in universities, research institutes, and specialized academic and research centers.
