The Physical Therapy Department was established in 2003 and is an academic department specialized in the study and application of physical therapy methods to rehabilitate patients who suffer from injuries or medical conditions affecting their mobility and functionality. The department aims to train students in using therapeutic techniques and methods designed to improve movement and physical functions, by assessing patients' health conditions and developing comprehensive treatment plans. The department offers specialized academic programs in physical therapy at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, focusing on developing clinical and theoretical skills in areas such as motor rehabilitation, pain management, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injury treatment, and managing chronic diseases such as arthritis and neurological disorders. The department is equipped with modern laboratories and facilities with the latest technical equipment to provide practical training for students, in addition to field training in accredited hospitals and medical centers. The department aims to graduate qualified physical therapy specialists who are capable of providing excellent therapeutic services, improving patients' quality of life, and contributing to the development of the healthcare sector.
