The Faculty of Engineering – Rabigh at King Abdulaziz University believes that its social responsibility is an integral part of its educational and research mission and strives to enhance its role in serving the community in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. The Faculty focuses on implementing initiatives and programs that contribute to promoting engineering and technological awareness and providing practical educational and outreach services in various engineering fields. The Faculty’s efforts include organizing programs and training workshops in areas such as engineering innovation, industrial safety, sustainable energy, and digital transformation, in addition to awareness initiatives targeting students, engineers, and the local community. The Faculty also supports volunteer activities and community initiatives, offering students opportunities for field participation and hands-on experiences that strengthen their academic and professional skills. The Faculty works on building strategic partnerships with industrial, engineering, governmental, and private institutions to maximize the impact of its programs, whether through applied projects or joint consultancy and training initiatives. Through these efforts, the Faculty of Engineering – Rabigh reaffirms its commitment to social responsibility as a cornerstone for achieving sustainable development and actively contributing to fostering innovation and enhancing the efficiency of the engineering community.
