Department of Internal Medicine

The Department of Internal Medicine was established in 1430 AH (2009 ) at the Faculty of Medicine in Rabigh, King Abdulaziz University, as an integral part of the academic program. The department aims to provide specialized education and training in the diagnosis and treatment of internal diseases, including common and chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, respiratory diseases, and kidney diseases. The department focuses on equipping students with both basic and advanced knowledge in internal medicine, with an emphasis on developing diagnostic and treatment skills using the latest medical technologies. Additionally, the department contributes to medical research aimed at improving treatment methods for internal diseases and providing new solutions to healthcare challenges.
