Student activities

The Student Activities Unit at the College of Rehabilitation Sciences is responsible for organizing programs and events that contribute to developing students' personalities and enhancing their academic, leadership, and social skills. This is implemnted according to annual plans. The unit includes four subcommittees: the Cultural Subcommittee, the Sports Subcommittee, the Social Subcommittee, and the Religious Subcommittee. Together, they work to create a university environment rich in experiences and foster a spirit of teamwork and effective giving within the academic community. The unit also seeks to support student initiatives, encourage creativity and excellence, and motivate students to innovate, take initiative, and work effectively on campus. Student Disciplinary Committee

Student Disciplinary Committee

This committee is responsible for monitoring the disciplinary behavior of male and female students, verifying violations, and recommending appropriate disciplinary actions in accordance with the university’s student behavior and conduct regulations.

  • Review violations referred by the college's Deanship or academic departments.
  • Monitor the implementation of disciplinary penalties on students who violate exam regulations (e.g., cheating cases).
  • Recommend appropriate disciplinary actions in accordance with the university’s student behavior and conduct regulations.
  • Reform and address the behavior of violating students through available educational methods within the college.
  • Prepare minutes of disciplinary committee meetings to be submitted to the College Deanship for escalation to the relevant authority.
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.
College Curriculum Committee

College Curriculum Committee

This committee is responsible for reviewing and auditing the courses of the Faculty of Medical Rehabilitation Sciences and forming subcommittees to develop new courses as needed.

  • Ensure that the programs align with labor market needs and comply with approved university standards.
  • Monitor and update academic plans and review them before submission to the College Council for approval.
  • Review course descriptions and academic plans of the college departments to meet quality requirements and the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
  • Study the proposal or cancellation of courses in accordance with regulations and systems, in line with students’ interests and labor market demands.
  • Explore the inclusion of first-year courses from the Faculty of Medical Rehabilitation Sciences.
  • Develop and incorporate the Labor Market Skills course.
  • Perform any tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Student clubs

The college has five effective student clubs: the physiotherapy club, the therapy club, the respiratory therapy club and speech pathology and audiology club. Each student club organizes educational, societal and recreational activities related to the department and in cooperation with the activities unit and the community service unit in the college
