Social responsibility and community service
The Faculty of Law strives to establish a competitive and integrated environment for social responsibility that motivates university members and attracts other sectors, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation while promoting social investment. It also seeks to encourage innovative activities and develop female students’ talents to help them become productive and responsible citizens. This is achieved through the implementation of the Responsible Project initiative, which involves selecting projects undertaken by male and female students that contribute to addressing important societal issues related to one of the dimensions of sustainable development.

To establish an institutional framework for social responsibility as an integral part of the university’s role in community service, in alignment with the dimensions of sustainable development, and to contribute to achieving Saudi Vision 2030, which aspires to build an ambitious nation, a vibrant society, an effective government, and a responsible nation.
Partnership Between the Saudi Bar Association and King Abdulaziz University, Represented by the Faculty of Law
In pursuit of strengthening professional, research, and training initiatives, this partnership aims to achieve academic excellence and professional development in the legal practice and Sharia and legal consultancy sectors, while enhancing the skills and knowledge of the Faculty of Law’s male and female students. This Memorandum of Understanding aims to highlight the importance of mutual academic cooperation between the two parties and establish a practical framework for collaboration in providing professional services, conducting research and studies, delivering training programs, and exchanging expertise in areas related to their respective activities. The partnership seeks to advance the legal practice sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, enabling it to become a leading sector that contributes to serving justice in society, while building bridges of cooperation between the Saudi Bar Association and King Abdulaziz University in areas of mutual interest.

In line with the mutual desire of both parties to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise and resources in the fields of Zakat, taxation, and customs, this partnership seeks to enrich scientific, academic, training, and knowledge-based content, raise awareness, and enhance the professional skills of national talent. It is also aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 and its commitment to fostering strategic partnerships. This Memorandum of Understanding aims to provide student training opportunities, conduct research and studies, offer consultations, exchange knowledge, and organize scientific visits and meetings, all in support of the overarching goal of achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
