The Department of Public Law is an academic department specialized in the study of branches of law that regulate the relationship between individuals and the state, as well as between various government bodies. The department focuses on the study of a range of fundamental legal subjects, such as constitutional law, administrative law, public international law, criminal law, and human rights. The department aims to equip students with the necessary legal knowledge to understand how public authorities are organized in the state and how individual rights are protected within the legal system. It also seeks to qualify students to work in judicial, governmental, and international organizations, with an emphasis on developing critical thinking and legal analysis skills،The department also offers a Bachelor of Laws program and a Master of Public Law program.
