Introduction
The Student Activities Unit is responsible for organizing and developing extracurricular activities that contribute to building students’ personalities and refining their academic and social skills. The Unit seeks to create a motivating university environment through diverse events and developmental programs that meet students’ needs and strengthen their sense of belonging to the institution.
Responsibilities
- Preparing student activities plans, submitting them to the Vice Dean of the College, and following up on their implementation.
- Coordinating developmental courses for college students.
- Preparing and organizing student committee activities within the college.
- Representing the college in general student activities committees.
- Preparing required reports related to student activities.
- Holding meetings with committee members to activate and enhance student activities.
- Supervising gifted student programs.
- Overseeing the establishment of scientific and professional student associations.
Authorities
- Distributing tasks and responsibilities among committee members.
- Communicating and coordinating with relevant parties within the college regarding matters stipulated in the assigned duties.
