Social responsibility and community service

The Faculty of Education at King Abdulaziz University believes that its social responsibility is an integral part of its educational and research mission. Through its programs and initiatives, the faculty seeks to serve the community and prepare qualified educators who contribute to building an aware and capable generation, in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. The faculty focuses on strengthening its role in promoting educational and pedagogical awareness, and in launching initiatives that support the development of the educational process and community skills. The faculty’s efforts include organizing educational and awareness programs in areas such as modern pedagogy, special education, and psychological counseling, in addition to offering workshops and training courses for teachers, parents, and students on effective teaching methods, positive parenting, and the development of thinking and creativity skills. The faculty also supports volunteer initiatives that promote values of citizenship and belonging, while providing students with opportunities to participate in field activities that equip them with practical experiences to enhance their academic and social skills. The faculty works to build effective partnerships with educational and community institutions to maximize the impact of its programs, whether through providing educational consultations or through joint educational and training initiatives. Through these efforts, the Faculty of Education reaffirms its commitment to social responsibility as one of the pillars of sustainable development, and to its contribution in preparing a well-educated generation capable of advancing society and achieving its future aspirations.
