Duties of the Student Counseling Unit:

• Receive students who require counseling.
• Implement academic underperformance prevention programs according to the approved proposal.
• Register students who have, or are observed to have, psychological, social, or academic issues, as well as those referred by the College Vice Dean, faculty members, or equivalent authorities.
• Maintain ongoing coordination between the unit’s staff and the University Counseling Center regarding students’ counseling needs.
• Refer students who require additional counseling sessions to the University Counseling Center.
• Coordinate with the University Counseling Center to organize awareness workshops in the field of counseling.
• Implement preventive counseling programs within the College.
• Identify the unit’s needs for educational and counseling materials and resources.
