In line with the continuous development at King Abdulaziz University across various fields, and response to the growing focus of the Faculty of Economics and Administration on the ongoing enhancement of its academic departments and meeting the needs of the labor market, the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Prime Minister and Chairman of the Higher Education Council, may Allah preserve him, was granted on 19/3/1430 AH for the establishment of the Department of Management Information Systems. The department offers courses in English, aiming to equip students with the technical and professional skills necessary to design and develop information systems, understand their components and requirements, and grasp the concepts related to how these components function within an integrated system. This approach ensures that the department meets the objectives of private sector organizations by aligning technical and non-technical activities, maximizing their benefits to enhance productivity and competitiveness in the market.
