Department of Finance

In line with the ongoing developments in educational curricula and the increasing need to integrate administrative and financial aspects, King Abdulaziz University recognized the necessity of establishing a Department of Finance as part of its development plans. As a result, the finance track was separated from the Business Administration Department and transformed into an independent department within the Faculty of Economics and Administration. This specialization was created to provide business environments with comprehensive financial tools within a cohesive administrative framework. This integration ensures harmony between administrative, economic, and investment domains, enabling management to effectively achieve its objectives. The department plays a crucial role in supporting national development plans by graduating specialists in finance and investment who are equipped to adapt to rapid economic changes. Graduates from this department are distinguished by their understanding of modern financial concepts and their ability to apply advanced quantitative methods. Additionally, the department contributes significantly to field research by addressing societal issues, gathering data, analyzing it, and disseminating findings to maximize its benefits. This aligns with the faculty's goals of fostering a robust research environment and providing scientific consultations and field studies that serve various sectors of society in areas related to the faculty's specialization.
