Academic Advising
TAcademic advising at the Faculty of Earth Sciences, King Abdulaziz University, is an integrated support system designed to guide undergraduate students academically and professionally. It assists students in planning their academic journey in alignment with university regulations, program requirements, and career pathways, while enhancing academic performance and supporting Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.
Objectives of academic advising:
Academic advising aims to support students in course selection, academic planning, and overcoming academic challenges, while developing informed decision-making and career readiness skills. Services include academic follow-up, guidance for at-risk students, career advising, and awareness of training, research, and field opportunities related to Earth Sciences disciplines.
