Bachelor

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science

The Computer Science Program was established in 2009 and became operational during the second semester of the 2009/2010 academic year. The program is delivered by highly qualified faculty members with diverse academic and research expertise across various areas of computer science. It is designed to prepare graduates with strong theoretical foundations and practical skills in computing, equipping them to address complex technological challenges and contribute effectively to Saudi Arabia's digital transformation initiatives. The Program is committed to excellence in teaching, research, and innovation, ensuring that students receive a high-quality education aligned with current technological advancements, industry requirements, and internationally recognized academic standards. This commitment equips graduates with the knowledge, technical competencies, and professional skills needed for successful careers in computing and related disciplines, as well as for advanced studies and lifelong learning. The Program offers four different tracks: Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Bioinformatics, and Computer Graphics. Each track includes five core courses as elective requirements, and students can also take courses from different tracks according to the department's terms and conditions.

The Bachelor of Science in Information Systems is offered by the Department of Information Systems at the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology, King Abdulaziz University Rabigh Branch.
