The Faculty of Computing and Information Technology at King Abdulaziz University, Rabigh Branch, was established in the academic year 1429/1430 AH (2008/2009 AD) in response to the growing demand for qualified national professionals in the field of technology. The Faculty offers three undergraduate programs in Computer Science, Information Systems, and Information Technology. In the academic year 1431/1432 AH (2010/2011 AD), the female students’ branch was inaugurated, reflecting the University’s commitment to empowering Saudi women in higher education. Since its establishment, the Faculty has placed great emphasis on excellence in education, research, and community service, while continuously updating its curricula to align with global advancements. Guided by its mission and core values, the Faculty seeks to prepare distinguished graduates capable of competing globally and contributing effectively to digital transformation and national development.
