Institutional and Academic Accreditation

The Faculty of Computing and Information Technology at King Abdulaziz University – Rabigh is committed to ensuring the quality of its academic programs through obtaining specialized international accreditations. This reflects the faculty’s adherence to global standards in education and strengthens the confidence of society and stakeholders in its graduates. All bachelor’s programs offered by the faculty (Computer Science, Information Systems, and Information Technology) are accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) through the Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC). This accreditation remains valid until the next comprehensive review in 2028–2029. Furthermore, these accreditations fall under the Seoul Accord for international mutual recognition.
