The Faculty of Computing and Information Technology at King Abdulaziz University believes that its social responsibility is an integral part of its educational and research mission. The faculty’s efforts include organizing awareness and educational programs in areas such as computer science, information technology, networking, programming, and cybersecurity, in addition to offering workshops and training courses for students and community members on modern technological skills, software development, and digital transformation in institutions. The faculty also supports volunteer initiatives that enhance digital culture and technical skills within the community, while providing students with practical opportunities in technical projects and applied laboratories that develop their professional and social skills. The faculty works on building strategic partnerships with governmental and private institutions to maximize the impact of its programs, whether through advisory studies or joint educational and training initiatives.
